Hello well spring has sprung !!
I was lucky enough to be at The Chas Ball on Saturday at the Hilton Glasgow, which was brilliant and we raised £100′000 for the charity, not only that I got to see the proclaimers perform, only a couple of feet from me. They were sensational!!! The week before, I was also involved at the “Real Radio” stage at the Kilt walk 2012, as a presenter for the various acts that were there, we had soundsational a fantastic community choir, double trouble winners of Scotlands Real Talent and also Britains Got Talent very own Edward Reid, who was great fun. Can I also say a big congratulations to my friend Cat Harvey, who walked the whole 26miles and raised a lot of money.
I have also been down at the hospital radio in Ayr - hopefully cheering up the patients, or even speeding up there time of staying in hospital, ” God we are not listening to him, just discharge me doctor” , either way its good fun.
I was suppose to be gigging with Joe Longthorne for his 4 scottish dates in April, but due to a mix up thats not happening, I was looking forward to it, I have warmed up for him before, and they were always great gigs. May is looking extremely busy for me at the moment which is good news.
This will be the first summer is 6 years that I wont be appearing in a “summer season” which as the time approaches is feeling slightly weird, but in this business you never know what is around the corner
…….. aslong as it is not a big bus I’ll be ok. Having said that I hope you will all visit the Hippodrome in Great Yarmouth to see Jack, with Clive and Danny Adams.
Well Im offski now - inbetween gigging, watching the proclaimers, and pestering ill people in hospital with the radio, I have really got into jogging and walking around Glasgow. Don’t worry Im going boring myself !!!!!!!!!
Bye xx

Yes yes OK !!!
who’s saying that Johnny, all your fans?
No……… my mum
Hi, I know this has been a long time since I have updated this, but here I am. A quick update on the past few months, I finished another successful summer season at the Hippodrome Great Yarmouth The show as always, was gob smacking, and great to be involved in, and then it was off abroad to gig in Cyprus/ Majorca / Tenerife and a 1 night stay in Lanzarote. Which gave me a busy October / November.
At about half past November I started rehearsals for Peter Pan at the Pavilion Theatre. I had a fantastic panto this year. It was even better I got to be at home for Christmas day. The panto was extra enjoyable as I got to work with my friends James and Cat, we were like the three amigos every day, wandering along Sauchehall Street for 3 months putting the world to rights, and chatting rubbish. Sometimes it didn’t feel like we were going to work.
The rest of the cast were great. I enjoyed working with Dean Park and Jim Davidson. Jim allowed me to be funny, with little bits and pieces of comedy material, which any up and coming comedian will agree, sometimes in shows, you are not allowed this luxury
The Panto finished on the 21st of January and we all went our separate ways - well apart from my pals Jamesy and Cat. Hooray !!!!!
To be honest peeps it has been a rubbish start to the year. In Feb I lost my friend cancer, he was the same age as me, and had been fighting this disease for sometime. We both shared a passion for comedy, he ran an improv company in Glasgow, and we both would go to the comedy clubs in and around Glasgow nd on a Tuesday night you would find us in the Halt Bar on Woodlands Road. He even did sound for me, on some of my local Gigs. We had a different sense of humour and approach to comedy, his was standing still, almost angry with his audience, but funny guy. Its difficult to watch anyone loosing there battle with something like that, but to be young, and have so much more to give in life, well sorry that is just totally unfair. It has made me realise how fragile life is, and you really have to make the most of your time here.
I know he will be up there just now looking down, probably with a Jack Daniels in hand, ripping it out me for mentioning him on here - haha fair play !!!
Work wise I am talking to various agents at the moment to try and get gigs in the diary, I have just cut a new stand up show reel and hoping to get a voice reel cut for radio work.
Well I think that is enough for now, I will try and keep this more up to date. Remember LIVE IN THE MOMENT, easier said than done I know but try, I will to
R.I.P Paul Crommie
sorry mate had to finish with you

well I am in full swing now getting ready for summer season. Jack is up with me in scotland just now, and the last few days we have been throwing many ideas around for the summer. It is a great offstage relationship we have, which is half the battle when working so closely with someone, this shall be the 4th season at the hippodrome in Great Yarmouth and I am looking forward to starting. Before the season, I have two contracts abroad to carry out, next week I visit Tenerife and Lanzarote, and then back to Cyprus before returning a quick wash of the pants (sorry mum) and then head to yarmouth for 3 months
that is all the news at the mo i think, sure I have missed something. Anyway got to dash Jack and I are going to watch Zippos Circus and then onto a improv show speak soon bye
